Development Projects

CAP works individually and in collaboration with private developers to develop properties of historic significance for contemporary uses. Properties developed by CAP are resold with a historic preservation easement. In some situations, CAP's role is limited to stabilization, in which case the property is resold with a historic preservation easement and a rehabilitation agreement. A rehabilitation agreement requires that a property owner undertake the rehabilitation of a property within a specified time period and according to the Secretary of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation (1992.)
